Halloween

October was very busy. Hunter's school had a fundraising carnival, and many hours of work was put into it. Hunter was sick, we had visitors (Ella, Auntie Steph, Uncle Greg), and Halloween. Hunter had trick or treating at school and at night. He had very specific ideas about his costume and what it would look like. Hunter is often a dinosaur (like every day) named Snuggles (Chase's dinosaur name is Cuddles). The type of dinosaur changes, and so does the color. At this time he was a blue Maisaurus. He wore this costume every day for at least two weeks straight.

The pumpkin

Okay, so I know there are a lot of pictures with this big pumpkin, but Chase is so cute! Besides, how many times do we get to carve out a big pumpkin and stick a baby inside (okay so this is our second time)?

Pumpkin patches

In October we went on a big search for our large pumpkin for Chase. The second patch we found was really cool with horse rides, jumping tent, and hay rides. Also an opportunity to see the pumpkins still growing on the vine.

Visit continued....

Ella & Auntie Stephie visit

This visit was so much fun and we did so much, we went to Happy Hollow (twice!), to Hunter's school (twice!), Palo Alto jr. museum, The Children's discovery museum, and San Francisco where Hunter ended up getting a flu, but did not let that get him down.

September continued......

Hunter had pirate week at his school, and since it is a co-op we are all involved.

September

September was a big month for us. Chase had surgery, and Hunter started his school year the same week. Hunter also started soccer and Chase got good at rolling both ways and started to work on the army man crawl. The boys continue to be good friends, Hunter is a great big brother, and Chase thinks the world of Hunter.

August 2007

August was a good month for us. We got to see Daddy ,a lot since he was home sleeping (or at least trying to sleep) during the days. We got to go to Happy Hollow and the discovery museum (where Hunter painted his own face) with our friends Austin and Jackson. Chase had a lot of firsts this month...rolling over, taking a bath big boy style (sitting up), eating cereal, blowing raspberries, playing peek-a-boo, and swinging in the swing at the playground.

What we have been up to!

Well at just under 5 months (1 week to go!) Chase has been trying out sitting up all by himself! He is getting so big. He loves to smile and to laugh and watch everything. Hunter has been performing musical shows for us, both solo and with the band (his friends Austin and Jackson). We also got to go to the zoo with our friend Marie, and play at many playgrounds in water, sand, and tunnels.

BEST FRIENDS!

It sees amazing that in just 2 weeks I can get so many cute pictures of the brothers together, but Hunter makes sure that he spends time cuddling and playing with his little brother, and Chase thinks that almost everything Hunter does is amazing or the funniest thing ever. They really are best friends (of course the true test will come when Chase starts stealing Hunter's toys!).

Visiting Reno for Grandma Abuelita's 73rd Birthday!

We got to go for a quick trip to see Grandma also known as Abuelita for her Birthday. Hunter had a great time playing with his cousins Angel and David. It was hard to get a picture of Hunter as he was so interested in Angel's toy car lightning McQueen (what a face he is making!). Chase had a great time getting so much attention from everyone, especially Grandma, Aunt Marie, cousin David and Aunt Maggie.
