Logan joined our family on December 10, 2008 at 1:58 pm., at 10 lbs 10 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Due to his large size, our induction process finally went to a c-section after about 30 hours including over 2 hrs of trying to push him out! Logans brothers both love him very much. Hunter loves to hold him, sing him songs and read him stories. Chase loves to hug and kiss him, point out his body parts and name them, especially his nose, and make sure he has blankets on him. Logan hates getting his diaper and clothes changed and protests in a very loud voice. We can see that he will give Hunter a run for his money to see who is louder.

The boys
December
Well this month Chase also discovered some new interests, the kitchen cabinets, the bathroom, the fish tank (he will climb on anything he can to get to see our fish), to name a few. Hunter has found that he loves picking up Chase and moving him, be it to protect Chase, or other reasons, or just for fun. He also likes to hide in another room and call for Chase to find him. The love to play together, in Hunter's bed tent, or with Chase's new toys.
Christmas!
Well the big day finally arrived and Hunter did not believe it was actually here. He woke up and came into my room, excited and confused that there was a tent over his bed. "But mommy, why is it there? But why is it Christmas? (I know all these why's are age appropriate, but I find that they are a little much)". Chase who was celebrating his first Christmas was a little, well actually, very overwhelmed. Of course, it did not help that he had been throwing up and had a high fever the day before.
Christmas Prep.
Hunter was so excited about Christmas this year it was very cute. He decorated his tree with great passion and asked each day if it was Christmas yet. He also decided to give everyone dinosaurs, including making dinosaur lollipops for everyone in his class. He wrapped presents to give to others, played with Santa, the reindeer, and his nativity sets everyday, and was basically very wired the whole month. I guess the advent calender with chocolates did not help. It is amazing how differently you see things when you are the parent, instead of the one opening the little doors to find your treat!
Seeing Auntie Deb and Cecil
Family
Of course the best part of any trip to Massachusetts is getting to see all of our family and friends, or at least trying to see all of them. We are so lucky that the kids are able to see and know their Nana, Pop Pop, Auntie Stephie, and cousin Ella through the computer, so when we are there we don't waist time on getting reacquainted. Hunter and his cousin Ella love each other so much and they are both in love with Dinosaurs, so they have so much in common. We got to spend Thanksgiving at Auntie Steph and Uncle Greg's, and to see Aunt Tammie, Uncle Chris (pictured above with the kids), and cousin Ashley. We also got to get together with all the Hancock's and Nally's.

The Children's Museum
This museum was great! I think if we lived in Boston, we would be there all the time. We only got to explore about half of it. All three kids (Hunter Chase and cousin Ella) really really love water, so the water area was a big hit. So was the construction / big dig area. Another favorite was a huge 3 floor climbing structure at the beginning, but it was really hard to get pictures of them in it.
